She is loved by everyone, and you can’t imagine who she is

Step aside, Aladdin! The legendary Barbara Eden, the woman who made the world believe in magic, celebrated her 92nd birthday on August 23, and the beloved actress continues to defy time.

Her career reached new heights in 1960 when she starred opposite Elvis Presley in Flaming Star, a western that introduced her to international audiences.

But it was in 1965 that she secured her most iconic role—playing Jeannie, a mischievous yet lovable genie, in I Dream of Jeannie. Starring alongside Larry Hagman, who played astronaut and U.S. Air Force Captain Tony Nelson, Eden quickly became a household name. The show ran for five successful seasons and solidified her status as a television legend.

At the same time that she was captivating audiences as Jeannie, Eden was also navigating a significant milestone in her personal life—motherhood.
