James was taken aback to find Liam crying in the attic, disrupting an otherwise ordinary day. His heart raced as he rushed to his son, unsure of what had caused the sudden distress. The sight of Liam, wide-eyed and trembling, only deepened his concern.
Liam struggled to explain, but between his sobs, he mentioned something about the attic, an old box, and a strange noise. James knelt down to comfort him, still unsure of what was unfolding, but sensing that something unusual was at play.
The confusion stretched back to 2018, when the family’s arborvitae trees were damaged by deer. At the time, it seemed like a simple issue to resolve, but as they prepared to replace the trees, something unusual caught their attention. Something in the east side of the yard that didn’t belong.
What they first assumed was an ordinary electrical box turned out to be far more perplexing. Hidden between the trees was an old, rusted container, its contents mysterious and locked away for years. Little did they know, that moment would mark the beginning of a secret unraveling right beneath their feet.
