James Carville: Biden ‘Has Nobody To Blame But Himself’ For Damaged Legacy

James Carville urged former President Joe Biden to step aside, stating, “no one wants to hear from this guy anymore.

” Speaking on his Politics War Room podcast, Carville, a longtime Biden admirer, criticized his refusal to exit the 2024 race earlier, calling his final political act “terrible.”

Carville dismissed Biden’s claim that he could have beaten Trump, referencing reported tensions with Jill Biden and Alexandra Pelosi. He described Biden as “one of the most tragic stories of American politics” and warned that any future involvement would harm the party.

Had Biden stepped down in 2023, Carville argued, Democrats would have won easily with stronger candidates. “The party’s moving on,” he concluded. “He has nobody to blame but himself.”
