When his friends first saw his tiny house, they couldn’t help but laugh. But once they stepped inside, they were amazed. At just 13 years old, Luke Thill from Iowa built a house in his backyard for the price of a cell phone, surprising everyone with his creativity and determination.
While many kids his age were focused on school and typical teenage activities, Luke spent his time learning how to build his dream tiny home. The house measures just 89 square feet, and although it has electricity, it doesn’t have plumbing yet. Despite its small size, Luke was proud of his project.
Luke, who considers himself a minimalist, said he wanted to create a living space without the burden of a huge mortgage. His tiny house represents his desire for simplicity and independence at a young age. It’s not just a structure; it’s a step toward his dream of living on his own terms.
Building this tiny home has taught Luke valuable skills and given him a sense of accomplishment. It shows that even at a young age, with the right mindset and determination, anyone can create something impressive and meaningful.
